Thank you to Spalding bulb for our rainbow bulbs. The children had great fun planting the bulbs. We are now eagerly awaiting them to grow in the spring. (www.spaldingbulb.co.uk)
The University Academy of Holbeach came to HolbeachBank Primary to offer an Athletics taster session. The children enjoyed a range of activities to include: relay, shot put, javelin, hurdles and long jump. See slide show.
This year 34 children entered the school pumpkin competition with some great (and some scary) pumpkins that had been carefully carved at home with parents.
In each class a winning pumpkin was chosen as well as a runner up but Teachers found it very hard to choose because of the superb quality of entries.

Bewilderwood Trip - Thursday 22nd May

Class 2 - Open Assembly
Class 2 presented an assembly about an Oscar Wilde poem to the school community including staff, Governors and parents.
Oscars Ceremony - Wednesday 23rd April
Class 3 from Holbeach Bank were joined by Classes 5 & 6 from Fleet Wood Lane School for a celebratory Oscars ceremony and to watch the films that each class had made. The films were incredible and the children really enjoyed walking along the red carpet.
Polka Dots performance - Wednesday 26th March
All children at Holbeach Bank Primary School were offered a funded placed at the Polka Dots after school club, due to fundraising efforts and donations made by FoHBS. The children really enjoyed this 5 week after school programme and members of the school community, including Teachers, Parents, Governors and FoHBs were invited to see their finished project being performed.
Fruity Friday - Friday 21st March
Class 1 & 3 teamed together to have a Fruity Friday themed day, where they made fruit based treats including smoothies and fruit kebabs. They also made their own fitness videos and completed fitness workouts in the school grounds.
