Houses of Parliament visit 2017

When we got up we had to go to Moulton Chapel Primary School. From there we went on a 2 HOUR bus drive to get into London. We eventually got there and weren't allowed in until 1 o'clock and it was 10 o'clock. So while we waited, we walked down to 10 Downing Street.

At 10 Downing Street there were lots of guards that were armed. One of the guards told us that a laser gun has 50,000 volts in it. There were horses there and we took a picture underneath it. When we had a picture the horse moved its head slightly and we all got scared. By this time it was 12:35 so we walked back to the Houses of Parliament.

We slowly started to move in and we all wondered why it was so slow. we looked and found out you get searched by a metal detector. When everyone was clear we got lead by a member of The Houses of Parliament. We went to the House of Lords and we watched a debate in there. Then we watched a debate in the House of Commons. We then we had a tour of The Houses of Parliament. We walked into the room were a king used to play tennis.

That was what we did on the fantastic Houses of Parliament Trip.
